A BRING ALONG YOUR
BABY BOOT CAMP!
The Moms with Muscle Program provides moms with a strenuous workout that own
pace) and muscle sculpting and toning through the use of resistance tubes.  Your baby is
right there with you in the stroller the entire time!

Who can participate?
Pre and postnatal mothers are encouraged to join us but dads and grandparents are
more than welcome, too!  However, everyone should check with their physician before
beginning any exercise program.  Participants of all fitness levels will find our class just
right for them.  In fact, as long as you have a stroller, a baby and a desire to have a good
work out, come join us!  If you DO NOT have a baby, well... you are more than welcome,
too!
So, that means pregnant moms can participate, too?
YUP!  In fact, it is a great way for pregnant moms to keep moving during pregnancy and
connect with other moms in their community.  All expecting moms must have written
clearance from their physician.  

What do I need to bring with me to class?
Any sort of stroller will do, however, we encourage Moms NOT to use an umbrella type
stroller. Most exercises require just you, your baby and the stroller.  When you register
for your Moms with Muscle membership, you will receive a nylon backpack.  The
backpack  includes an exercise resistance tube and jump rope, which will be used during
the workout.  Please bring these with you to class each time you attend.  Also remember
to wear comfortable exercise apparel, including sneakers, and to dress your baby
appropriately.  Most classes are held outside (spring/summer only), sun block and a hat
are always recommended to keep your baby shaded from the sun.  
Additionally, you will
need to bring a towel or mat for floor exercises.
 Other suggested items include water
and a toy and/or snack for your baby.

How long is class and how often should I attend?
Each Moms with Muscle exercise class is about 60 minutes long.  We start each class
with a warm-up and move right into our cardio workout with muscle sculpting and
toning segments.  Each class ends with some stretching and playtime for the little ones.  
You are more than welcome to join us every day of the week (except for Sunday).  We
suggest that moms exercise at least three times a week for optimal results.

What if my baby is fussy and won't stay in the stroller?
If your baby needs your attention, then by all means -- attend to your baby!  We are
moms and understand that the children always come first, so no one will mind if you
settle your child and then catch up.  Since our program design requires that we remain
in one spot for a toning and sculpting segment, you will have no problem joining us when
you and your baby are ready.  Whenever possible, the child is engaged with songs and
games to make the experience enjoyable for both mom and baby!

What do we do if the weather is bad?
If the weather is questionable, we ask the you always check the website one hour
before class or call us at
508-208-2997 to confirm when you are unsure.  If necessary,
class will be delayed by an hour (to 10:30 AM) and moved to The Strength Studio at 106
Hale Street, Bridgewater.  Call us with any questions!!
